This project offers flexibility in allowing a member to identify projects of interest and work closely with individuals inside the facility. The RIDOC Healthcare Services team is continually working to provide enhanced services for our patients. We have successfully partnered with community organizations to help ensure continuity of care when our patients re-enter the community. During the pandemic, we were one of the first to offer Covid-19 vaccine to all incarcerated individuals and provided innovative treatments including monoclonal antibody therapy. The RIDOC has been the first state to implement a comprehensive Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) program which has demonstrated enormous success. In pursuit of this mission, RIDOC works to be a model system for other facilities around the nation to replicate.
